CUET DU Admission 2024: Candidates wanting to enroll in the undergraduate program at Delhi University (DU) must register for the Common Undergraduate Entrance Test (CUET) UG through the official webiste at cuetug.ntaonline.in. Additionaly, to acquire admission to DU for 2024 through CUET, candidates are required to apply via the Common Seat Allocation System UG (CSAS UG) of the University of Delhi.
Admissions to Delhi University will be determined by the scores achieved by candidates in CUET UG. Candidates's who meet the eligibility criteria for a specific program and college can participate in the admission process through the DU CSAS portal.
Candidates must also note that with the NTA having announced the CUET 2024 results on 28 July, the official schedule and dates for the Delhi University (DU) admission counselling process will be announced soon.
Candidates will be admitted to DU through CUET UG 2024 primarily based on their scores in various subjects, languages, and the General Test, as indicated on the scorecard. However, minimum eligibility criteria for different universities also consider the percentage of subject combinations required for each course. Note that registering for CUET UG is essential for applying to CSAS UG. The candidate's name, signature, and photograph will be automatically integrated from the CUET application form. CUET DU Admission: Eligibility criteria
- Candidates must have passed the class 12th examination or its equivalent from a recognized board.
- It is mandatory for candidates to appear for CUET UG in the subjects corresponding to those studied in class 12th.
- If a subject studied in class 12th is not listed in CUET UG, candidates must take a language/domain-specific subject closely related to their class 12th studies (e.g., if a candidate studied Biochemistry in class 12th, they should appear for Biology in CUET UG).
- Admissions will be based on the score combination of language or domain-specific subjects as per the program-specific eligibility.
- A gap year will not disqualify candidates from seeking admission to the University of Delhi.
Cuet DU 204: Admission stages
- Register for CUET UG at cuetug.ntaonline.in.
- Appear for the CUET UG 2024 exam based on the subjects studied in Class 12th.
- Fill the DU CSAS application form.
- Select Preferences: Choose your preferred program and college.
- Release of CUET DU Merit List, followed by seat allocation and admissions.
- Upgrade or Freeze your allocated seat as per your preference.
CUET DU Admission 2024: Preference filling
- Open Preference-Filling Phase: After the CUET results are declared by the National Testing Agency, Delhi University will initiate the preference-filling phase.
- Log in to DU CSAS Dashboard: Candidates must log in using their DU CSAS dashboard to access the preference selection.
- Select Programs: Choose the programs in which the candidate wishes to seek admission.
- Order of Preference: It is essential for candidates to provide their order of preference for both programs and colleges for each selected UG program.
- Encourage Multiple Selections: Candidates are encouraged to select as many programs as they meet the specific eligibility criteria for.
- Confirm Preferences: After entering the preferences, candidates must confirm their order of preferences by clicking on the ‘Submit’ tab before the last date for preference-filling.
