CBSE 2018: Registrations for Class 9 and Class 11 Extends till October 30
CBSE 2018

The registration dates for class 9 and class 11 students has been extended by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

The schools can complete the student registration process latest by October 30, 2018, without late fee.

All CBSE affiliated schools must complete the registration process within the given schedule.

For the students who miss the deadline, they can still register with a late fee of Rs 1000 but only till November 12, 2018.

The students who still miss the deadline of November 12, they can apply till November 20 with a late fee of Rs 2000 along with the initial registration fees of Rs 150 for the schools in India.

As for the schools abroad, the initial fees for students of class 9 is Rs 250 and the initial fees for the class 11 students are Rs 300.

The final deadline for the registration is November 28, 2018, but the students have to pay Rs 5000 extra as the late fees.

After November 28, 2018, the dates will no more extend further.

The dates were extended due to keeping in mind the holidays on account of Dussehra and ‘Titli’ cyclone.

Recently MHRD introduced New Affiliation Bye-Laws 2018 and received the affiliation norms for CBSE schools.

Due to the New Bye-Laws, the affiliation process, beginning with making the process online to bring more transparency, has been simplified.

Now just two documents are to be filled at the time of application instead of 14 documents as the CBSE has reduced the paperwork drastically.

As well as the inspection of schools will no longer be based on academic indicators and learning outcomes.

Even if not mentioned in the grant letter, the affiliation will be valid for three years.

Currently, there are 20,783 schools affiliated to CBSE in the country.

CBSE is taking a lot of steps to make things easier for the students as well as contributing to developing the education structure of India.
