West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) is likely to announce class X exam 2017 results by May 15.
While the number of the students taking the examination has come down by 73,000 this year, more than 10 lakh students appeared for Madhyamik exam 2017.
However, there has been a significant rise in girls enrolling for the examination this year.
State Education Minister Partha Chatterjee said that the higher number of girl candidates reflects the success of the Chief Minister’s “Kanyashree Scheme”, which is aimed at giving scholarship to school-going girls.
WBBSE class X started on February 22 with the first language paper and ended on March 3 with all additional or optional papers.
The WBBSE, regulatory and administrator body, will upload the 10th Class Result on its official website and you can also see your result on this page.
