Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final results of Geologist examination 2013 on Tuesday.
The written exams for the same were held in November 2013 and Interviews were held from March 03 to March 06.
According to the statement released on the commission's website "The Geologist examination 2013 was held for the recruitment to two departments, Category I Posts in Geological Survey of India, Ministry of Mines and Category II Posts in the CGWB, Ministry of Water Resources".
The notification also says that "Appointment to the posts under the two categories shall be made by the Government in accordance with the merit position, preferences exercised by the candidates and number of vacancies issued in the notification".
The candidates who appeared in the examination can check their results as it has been published.

UPSC has a 'Facilitation Counter' near Examination Hall in its campus. Candidates can obtain any information/clarification regarding their examination/ recruitment on the working day between 10:00 hrs. to 17:00 hrs in person or over telephone nos. 011-23385271 / 23381125. Result will also be available on the UPSC web site i.e. www.upsc.gov.in.
