Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Friday has announced the final results of Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist Examination, 2015.
The students appeared in exam can check their results now which is available on the official website of http://www.upsc.gov.in/.
The result has been announced based on the written examination held by the UPSC in May, 2015 followed by interviews for Personality Test in August – September, 2015.
The merit list has been announced for candidates who have been recommended for appointment to the Group ‘A’ posts of Geologist, Geophysicist and Chemist in the Geological Survey of India ; and Jr. Hydrogeologist (Scientist B), Group ‘A’ in the Central Ground Water Board.
A total number of 254 candidates have been recommended for appointment, a statement said.
UPSC has a 'Facilitation Counter' near Examination Hall in its campus. Candidates can obtain any information/clarification regarding their examination/ recruitment on the working day between 10.00 hrs. to 17.00 hrs in person or over telephone nos. 011-23385271 / 23381125.
