The result for the Combined Medical Service Examination has been declared by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
The result is now available on the official website i.e. upsc.gov.in.
The candidates who appeared for the exam can visit the official website and check the result online.
The examination for the Combined Medical Services Examination 2019, was conducted by the UPSC on July 21, 2019.
Candidates who qualified in the preliminary or written examination were then called for the second part or Personality Tests which was conducted from October to December 2019. Based on the performance in both the examination, the list of in order of merit, of the candidates who have been recommended for appointment
A total of 798 candidates have been recommended against a total of 919 reported vacancies.
Category wise, a total of 245 candidates from the General category, 355 from OBC category, 55 from SC, 42 from ST and 90 candidates from Economically Weaker Sections or EWS category have been recommended. Also, out of the 798 candidates, the appointment of 385 candidates is provisional and subject to verification of the original documents.

UPSC CMS 2019 examination results would be used for appointment to the services/posts in the following:
(i) Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways
(ii) Assistant Medical Officer in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Service
(iii) Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Service
(iv) General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council
(v) General Duty Medical Officer Gr-II in East Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal Corporation, and South Delhi Municipal Corporation
