Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the result of Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2021 on Friday, October 29. All those candidates who have appeared for the UPSC CSE Prelims 2021 conducted on October 10, can check their results from the official website at upsc.gov.in. The Commission has issued the merit list consisting of roll numbers of successful candidates.
According to the official notification, a total of 9,214 students have qualified for the UPSC Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2021. Shortlisted candidates will now have to apply again in the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the UPSC IAS Main Exam 2021. The Commission will announce the dates and important instructions for filling up the DAF-I and its submission on its website in due course. Candidates are suggested to keep tracking the official website of the Commission to check all related updates pertaining to the main examination.
The UPSC will conduct the Civil Services main examination on January 7, 8, 9, 15, 16, 2022. The main examination will consist of two types of papers qualifying and merit-ranking. These two sections will be Paper A and Paper B namely the Language paper and English paper, which will be qualifying in nature. Candidates should have to score minimum of 25% of marks to qualify for the interview round.

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC i.e. upsc.giv.in.
Step 2: Go to the 'What's New' section available on the homepage.
Step 3: Click on the link says, Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam 2021 Result.
Step 4: A new page will open where candidates have to click on the UPSC Prelims result pdf link.
Step 5: Check the details printed on the pdf and search your roll number using ctrl+f key.
Step 6: Download the pdf and keep it safe for future use.
