UPSC CDS II Result 2020 - PC : My Result Plus

The UPSC CDS II Result 2020 has been released today, 1st October 2021 by the Union Public Service Commission. The candidates who appeared for the UPSC Combined Defence Service, CDS II examination can now check their results by visiting the UPSC official website- upsc.gov.in.


The examination was conducted by the UPSC in different phases- the first phase was the written examination and the second phase was the interview. The candidates have been qualified for the examination based on their performance in the written examination and the interview round. The candidates who qualified for the examination are required to take admission to as follows:

  • Officers Training Academy, Chennai, for 114th Short Service Commission Course (NT) (for Men).

  • Officers Training Academy, Chennai, 28th Short Service Commission Women (Non-Technical) Course, commencing in October 2021. 

The candidates must note that their medical examinations have been not taken into consideration while preparing the result. The candidate also must note that their candidature is provisional in nature. Following the final result, the Army Head Quarter will verify the educational qualification and date of birth of the candidates as a part of the document verification process. 

UPSC CDS II Result 2020: How to Check

  1. Visit the UPSC official website on upsc.gov.in.
  2. Under the Examination section, click on the link named ‘Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2020 (OTA)’.
  3. A new page will appear, click on the PDF file.
  4. The result will be displayed on the screen. Download the PDF file.
  5. Keep a hard copy of the same for future reference. 

The examination was conducted by the UPSC to fill vacancies on 169 posts of Short Service Commission course of Men and 17 posts are for women in the Short Service Commission course. The candidates must note that their marks will be made available on the official website of UPSC within 15 days from the date of result publication. The mark sheet will be available on the website for 30 days. The candidates are advised to visit the UPSC official website for more detailed information and updates related to the result.
