The copy checking process for UP Board Class X and XII is likely to resume soon by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education. Earlier the Board authorities announced to resume the application process from April 25, 2020.
Before the announcement of the lockdown, the copy checking process for UP Board 2020 Class 10th and 12th was commenced on March 16, 2020, and 10 percent assessment process was completed. But in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak and nationwide lockdown, the government postponed the copy checking process.
The Deputy CM Dr Dinesh Sharma did a video conference with the Board officials and instructed the officials to resume the UP board copy checking process from 25 April.
As per the reports, the evaluation process will be held at the centres where 10% of the evaluation process have been completed. More than four lakh copies have come from various districts to the centre.
The copy checking process has been fixed at four centres where examiners have to maintain social distancing while examining copies. Also, they have to sanitize their hands from time to time. The availability of sanitizer should be instructed at every centre. In this regard, the Deputy CM gave instructions in the video conferencing.

Last year more than 50 lakh students appeared for the examination for Class 10 and 12. 80% of students cleared the exam for 10th and 70 % of students cleared for 12th. Gautam Raghuvanshi from Kanpur topped UP Board 10th Exam by 97.1% marks and Tanu Tomar from Bagpat topped the UP Board 12th Exam by 98% Marks.
