UP Board Result 2019: Meet Tanu Tomar, Class 12th Topper Who Aspires to Become a Doctor

This year the UP Board 2019 Intermediate topper is Tanu Tomar, daughter of a farmer from Baraut, a town in Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh. She has topped among 29 lakhs candidates who enrolled for UP Board Class 12th 2019 Exam. Tanu has also broken the last two years’ record.

Tanu Tomar has secured 97.8% marks UP Board Class 12th Result 2019. Her marks are more than previous year topper Akash Maurya and Priyanshi Tiwari. Akash Maurya had topped 2018 and Priyanshi Tiwari has topped 2017 board exams respectively scoring 93.20% and 96.20% marks.

Tanu is a science stream student and had been topped in class 11 as well. Watching her performance throughout the years, her teachers had predicted that she will be among the top rank holders in the entire state. Tanu Tomar aims to become a doctor. She is dropping out one year to prepare for the medical entrance exam.

Talking to the media, Tanu said, “I want to give my best shot at the exam. I will prepare for the entire year. I am planning to move to Kota for coaching for the examination. I have yet to decide which college but I am aiming to crack the medical entrance in my first attempt itself.”
