The UP Board Class 10th, 12th Examinations 2020 was commenced from February 18 and concluded on March 21, 2020. This year around 57.36 lakh candidates registered for the examinations of UP Board for class 10th and 12th. Over 4,68,804 students left the UP Board Examination due to strictness on copying, this year. Earlier the Board had begun the evaluation process for Class X and XII answer sheets on March 16, 2020. The assessment was stopped on March 19 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown. As soon as the lockdown opens, the process of its evaluation will also begin. Our effort is to release the exam results in the first week of June.
Here the team of 'My Result Plus' has tried to explain to you how to calculate the percentage of the total marks for 10th and 12th.
How to Calculate Total Marks Percentage?
The students can simply follow these formulae to check the marks percentage ;
(I) Percentage (%) = {Total Marks Obtained (All Subjects) ÷ Total Marks} × 100
The above formulae will help students to calculate their Aggregate pass percentage. The formula is for students who have taken Additional subjects in the 10th or 12th Board Examination.
(II) Percentage (%) = {Total Marks Obtained (Top Five Subjects) ÷ Total Marks} × 100
The above formulae will help students to calculate their top five subjects percentage. The topper of any class, school or district level is also decided on the basis of the marks of the top five subjects. The formula will help students who have taken Additional subjects in the 12th Board.
(III) Percentage (%) = {Total Marks Obtained (Top Four Subjects) ÷ Total Marks} × 100
Some Colleges, Institutions & Universities grant admission on the basis of total marks of five subjects while other grants admission on the basis of marks obtained in the top four subjects.
So students can calculate the pass percentage with the help of the above-mentioned formulae.
