Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Certificate (TNHSC) Plus 2 or Class 12 supplementary result 2018 will be declared soon. 

While the plus 2 re-exam was held from June 25 to July 4, Tamil Nadu Education Minister KA Sengottaiyan announced the Class 12 Result 2018 on May 16. 

The pass percentage stood at 91.1 percent. The pass percentage of boys was 87.7 percent and 94.1 percent was for girls

Simple steps to check result s follows: 
Step 1: Visit tnresults.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the TNDGE Class 11th Results 2018 option.
Step 3: Enter the registration number.
Step 4: The result will pop up on the computer screen.

Exam pattern
Every year under the academic stream of 10-year pattern SSLC and Higher Secondary Examination for the 12th standard are the main examinations conducted by Government of Tamil Nadu's Directorate of Government Examinations. In order to facilitate the students to continue the studies without any break, the Special Supplementary Examinations for X & XII are conducted for the benefit of students who have failed in March / April Examinations.

Tamil Nadu Rural Students Talent Search Examination (TRUSTS Examination)
Tamil Nadu Rural Students Talent Search Examination is being conducted every year in the month of September, to encourage the rural students.

The students studying in IX standard during the academic year, whose parental annual income does not exceed Rs.1 Lakh are eligible to appear for the Examination. 50 girls and 50 boys are selected from each district and a scholarship of Rs.1000/- per annum is granted for a continuous period of four years. Now, the students are allowed to apply through online.
In the year 2016, 53,888 students appeared for the TRUST examination and 3,100 students were eligible for scholarships.

Duplicate Certificate
Candidates can get the Duplicate Certificate or Certified Copy of Mark List in case of loss of certificate or destroyed by flood or fire. Certified Copy of Mark List is only valid for short time duration whereas Duplicate Certificate is valid forever. Immediately on loss of original certificate the candidate must lodge a complaint in the nearest Police Station. If the certificate is not traceable, the candidate should obtain a non-traceable certificate from the Police.



About Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination
The Government of Tamil Nadu have constituted a new Board for School Examination in the name of State Board of School Examinations by merging the Board of Secondary Education and Board of Higher Secondary Examinations vide G.O.(Ms) No.26, School Education (V1) Department, Dated: 16.02.2011. It has been permitted to conduct a meeting and to take the decision with respect to all examinations. The Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination evaluates students' progress by conducting two board examinations - one at the end of Class 10 and the other at the end of Class 12.
