The announcement was made by the Minister on June 6, 2020.
According to the board, the result will be declared in the third week of July. However, there is no fixed date that has been decided yet.
As per the revised schedule announced by the government, the tenth standard board exams will be held from June 15 to 25 for over 9.5 lakh candidates.
The exams were postponed due to increase in COVID-19 cases in the state. Earlier, the exams were scheduled from June 1-12.
Earlier also an announcement was made by the education minister that, "Mostly the class 10 and 12 exam results will be out in July and it is impossible to disclose the exact date of publication of the results".
He further said that the teachers are already engaged in the evaluation of answer sheets of class 12 exams.
Recently, on June 4, TNDGE had released the SSLC Admit Cards for the pending examinations to be conducted in the state.
The students from across the state will be reporting to the exam centres which have been allocated to them. The students have also been advised to follow social distancing norms in the schools they are going for the exams in.
The number of exam centres has also been increased. As per the official data a total of 12, 690 centres have been allotted for the exams with proper social distancing norms being followed.
