While the RBI Assistant Exam is a country-wide competitive examination conducted in two phases i.e. Preliminary and Main examination followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT), extra time of 20 minutes per hour is permitted for the candidates with locomotor disability where dominant (writing) extremity is affected to the extent of slowing the performance of function (minimum of 40% impairment).
Exam Pattern
Preliminary Exam
This Preliminary exam is a 100 mark paper with a composite time of 1 hour. It is an online objective test.
Main Exam
Those who qualify through the Prelims Exam are eligible to write the Mains Exam. This will be a 200 mark paper with a composite time of 2 hours. It will be an online objective Test.
There will be negative marking of 1/4th marks in the RBI Assistant Mains Exam.
The Mains Exam will be conducted Bilingually, i.e., English & Hindi.
