The latest update for the students of Punjab Board who will be desperately waiting for their class 12th result after they finish writing their exams, is that the Punjab Board of secondary education or PBSE will be declaring the 12th Result 2017 in the second week of May 2017.
The students can check their results online on this web page.Since the board has not yet confirmed the exact declaration date of the results, the students are requested to stay updated with all the latest information from the Board by checking this web page frequently. As soon as the Punjab Board is done with the evaluation of the exam papers of the students, the Board will publish the results for all the stream such as arts, commerce and science. The results will also be available on the official site of the Punjab Board which is pseb.ac.in. The students of class 12th will able to download their score card using their roll no and name.
Punjab School Education Board will organize the 12th class examination for all the streams like Commerce, Science and Arts in the month of March 2017 and thereafter the board will declare the 12th standard result in May 2017.
If we observe the statistical data for the past few years, it is seen that with an increase in the number of studentstaking 12th class exams, the number of passing students are also increasing. In the year 2013 the passing percentage was 71% whereas in the year 2016 this figure rose to 76%. This year in 2017, the board is hopeful that the students will perform even better and the passing percentage will further rise to 80%. It is also interesting to note that the passing percentage of the boys have always been higher as compared to the passing percentage of the girls by a huge gap of at least 10%. Like in the year 2016, the passing percentage of the boys was 83% while for the girls it was just 71%.
