NEST Result 2019 to be Out Today, Check the Steps to Download

The result for the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2019 is to be declared today i.e. June 18, 2019. 

Earlier the result was expected to be released on June 17, but due to some technical reasons was not uploaded on the website.  

NEST 2019 result will be out on 18.06.2019 (before 5 pm) according to the official website.

The result will be available on the official website of NEST: nestexam.in.

NEST Result 2019: How to check

Step 1: Go to the official website of NEST- nestexam.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link which reads NEST 2019 result

Step 3: It will direct to a new page of NEST

Step 4: You need to enter your NEST roll number and date of birth. Then click on the login button.

Step 5: Your NEST 2019 result will be displayed on the screen

Step 6: Take a print out of your NEST 2019 result for future reference


The National Entrance Screening Test or NEST is a compulsory online/computer-based test for admission to the five year Integrated MSc programme in basic sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics, at National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM–DAE CEBS), Mumbai.

The exam was conducted in two sessions on June 1, 2019. The first session was from 9 am to 12.30pm and the second session from 2.30pm to 6 pm.

Based on the performance in NEST 2019, Merit List of the candidates will be prepared for NISER and CEBS separately and posted on NEST 2019 website nestexam.in on June 17, 2019. Successful candidates in the NEST 2019 exam will be asked to participate in an admission/counselling process and admission to the program will strictly be according to the Merit List.

The final ranking of the candidates will be based on percentile scores calculated from the best three subject scores and the score in the general section. NISER and CEBS will publish separate merit lists based on the following criteria defined by NISER and CEBS separately.
