Add all grade points
Note the grade points awarded for each subject and Sum these grade points to get a total.
Divide by number of subjects
After adding the total grade points, divide it by the number of subjects you have. This will give you the CGPA.
For example, if a student has secured the following grade points for five subjects: 8, 7, 9, 8, and 7, the total grade points would be 39. Divide 39 by 5 (the number of subjects) results in a CGPA of 7.8.
