JAC Class 12 Result 2024: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has declared the results of the Class 12 Board exams 2024 today, 30 April. Students awaiting their JAC board result 2024 can now check and download it by visiting the official website at jacresultsdotin.
Candidates must note that the JAC board has jointly announced the outcomes and pass percentages of the Science (72.70%), Commerce (90.60%), and Arts (93.7%), streams today.
JAC Class 12 Result 2024: Pass percentage
- JAC 12th results for Science, Commerce, and Arts streams have been released, encompassing 740 centers and 3,44,000 students.
- Science stream: Out of 94,433 students, 68,203 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 72.70%. The first division percentage is 61%.
- Commerce stream: Among 25,907 students, 23,235 successfully cleared the exams, leading to a pass percentage of 90.60%. Notably, 61% secured a first division.
- Arts stream: With the largest cohort of 2,24,502 students, 2,06,685 passed, marking a pass percentage of 93.7%. Additionally, 40.78% secured the first position.
- These results showcase the hard work and dedication of Jharkhand students, paving the way for their future academic and professional pursuits.
Note that along with the JAC board result 2024, the pass percentage, topper list, and compartment exam details have also been released simultaneously.
In keeping with previous years' patterns, the JAC will reveal the findings at a press conference. There, board representatives will disclose not only the identities of the top board members but also the pass rate, pass rate by gender, and other significant information.
Last year the results for the JAC class 12 scientific stream were made public on 23 May, 2023, and the results for the commerce and arts streams on 30 May, 2023, respectively.
The year the JAC class 12 inter-exams were administered in February 2024, and a total of 3,44,822 candidates appeared for the JAC class 12 exams.
JAC Class 12 Result 2024: Pass marks
- Students must secure at least 33% marks in both theory and practical examinations for each subject to pass.
- Aggregating 33% marks is necessary to pass the Jharkhand Class 12 Board Exam 2024.
- Failure to meet these criteria will result in being declared fail.
