CUSAT CAT 2023 Result Released: Important Details
The CUSAT CAT Paper 1 (Mathematics) consisted of 125 questions, while Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry sections combined) had 75 and 50 questions, respectively. As per the CUSAT marking scheme, students received 3 marks for every correct answer and one mark was deducted for every incorrect answer.
The CUSAT CAT rank list for 2023 is prepared based on the percentile index of the candidates. To be eligible for rank allocation, students must have obtained a minimum of 10 marks in each section (Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry combined) in the CAT exam.
The following formula is used to calculate the percentile index: [(n+1-p)/n)]x S x 100. Here, "n" represents the number of candidates who appeared in the CAT exam in a particular subject, "p" denotes the position according to the CUSAT CAT score 2023, and "S" represents the actual score obtained by the candidate.
The three-hour computer-based CUSAT 2023 was conducted from May 3 to 6, 2023.
