CBSE Term 2 Result 2022: At a time when a majority of the state boards have announced the results for Class 10 and 12 students, the students of the CBSE board are in a tight spot, owing to uncertainty over result declaration, reason being the commencement of admission process by the state universities, for students who have cleared Class 12 exams.

Nearly 35 lakh students in total had appeared for the CBSE 10th and 12th term 2 exams 2022, who are now looking out for the result declaration date from the CBSE board. This includes 21 lakh students of Class 10 and 14 lakh students of Class 12.

Owing to the same, it is being speculated that the board will most likely release the results for Intermediate (Class 12) students first, to pave the way for the admission process for their preferred college/university.

However, the CBSE board is persevering in its efforts to deliver fast and fair evaluation of results. The board has also increased the target of the number of answer sheets being checked per day, to speed up the evaluation process. Earlier, the board had also stated that it had plans to rope in more teachers for the evaluation of answer sheets.

Uncertainty still prevails over the weightage that will be provided to the Term 1 as well as Term 2 exams. Earlier, the board had stated that in case the exams are conducted in the offline mode, the weightage provided to both Term 1 and Term 2 exams shall be equal, i.e. 50:50. However, later the board clarified that no fixed weightage policy has been decided yet and that the split could be 50:50, 30:70 or any ratio. Board officials had stated that the weightage would be finalized after the Term 2 results are out.

In addition to this, the students who had missed either the Term 1 exam or Term 2 exam would be evaluated on the basis of their performance in the very exam that they have appeared for. The board had released an official notice in this regard, earlier.
