The Central Board of Secondary education (CBSE) is expected to declare the results for class 10th on July 4 while the class 12th results will most probably be declared on July 10. According to media reports, this information is shared by unofficial sources in the Ministry Of Education.
In the last two months, almost all the major boards in India have released the results for the Class 12th examination, the CBSE students are in a dilemma as to when the results will be announced. While CBSE has been blaming the Covid pandemic for this delay in the result declaration.
Due to the pandemic, the CBSE has formulated a new model for the assessment of the student. In this new model, CBSE conducted the examination in two Terms, the Term 1 was conducted in November and December in the objective questions model. The results for this examination were declared after 3 months in February.
Similarly, when the Term 2 examination was conducted, it became the longest duration examination ever conducted by CBSE. As per the date sheet, the CBSE Class 10 term 2 exams were conducted from April 26th in a period of 29 days continuing till May 24, 2022. While the CBSE Class 12 board exam also started on 26th April and was conducted for 51 days accordingly, and was concluded on June 15, 2022.
Apart from the delay, the reliability of the examination model is also under scrutiny because in many examination centres the whole batch scored the same marks in the Term 1 examinations. The CBSE has justified this by explaining that since the examination was objective type, students were able to score the same marks.
Now, as the State Unversity have begun opening the admission windows, the students of CBSE are uncertain about their future prospects. With the expected declaration of the result in the upcoming week, the turmoil of CBSE students will come to an end.
