CBSE-CTET September 2016 results out
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday declared the result of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test.

In a statement released here, the CBSE said that 2,32,442 candidates had registered for the first paper (Class I to V) of which 26,638 qualified.

It added that for the second paper (Classes VI to VIII), 4,74,513 candidates registered, out of which 42,928 qualified.

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test was conducted on 18th September, 2016. Results are available on the CTET website i.e. www.ctet.nic.in and CBSE website i.e. www.cbse.nic.in.

The candidates are advised to check their result by login on website of CTET and CBSE.

According to the Public notice on the CTET website, the marksheet of all the candidates who have appeared and certificate of those candidates who have qualified shall be dispatched shortly.

Central Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted to recruit teachers for the Kendriya Vidyalays, Navodaya Vidyalas and other government schools that come under the control of the central government. The private unaided schools and the state governments too can consider the CTET scores for recruitment of teachers into their affilated schools.

The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to the Central Board of Secondary Education Delhi.
