CBSE Class 10th Result 2023 Out: Region-Wise Pass Percentage
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the class 10th board exam result 2023 on May 12, 2023 on its official website, cbse.nic.in.
The CBSE Class 10th exams were conducted from February 15 to March 21, 2023. About 21,86,940 students appeared in the Class 10th Board Exam this year, the pass percentage has been 93.12%.
Trivandrum has emerged as the region with the highest pass percentage in the CBSE Class 10 exams, with an impressive 99.91% pass rate. Bengaluru comes in second with a pass percentage of 99.18%, followed by Chennai with 99.14% and Ajmer with 97.27%. However, Delhi East came in second-last with an 88.30% pass percentage, while Guwahati has the lowest pass percentage of 76.90%.
It's worth noting that the female candidates have outperformed their male counterparts with an overall pass percentage of 94.25%, compared to boys' 92.27%. Meanwhile, transgender students achieved a pass percentage of 90%.
Furthermore, in an effort to avoid unhealthy competition among students, CBSE does not release any merit list and does not award first, second, or third divisions to its students. Instead, it will award merit certificates to the 0.1% students who scored the highest marks in various subjects.

- Log on to the official website of the CBSE, cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in.
- Click on the CBSE 10th Result link on the homepage.
- A login window will appear on the screen.
- Enter CBSE Class 10th Roll Number.
- The scorecard of the respective class 10 will appear on the screen.
- Download CBSE Class 10 Result 2023 and save it to your device.
- Take a printout for future reference.
