The students have been eagerly waiting for Bihar Board Class 10 Result 2020. As an update, the Bihar Board Result is to be declared today i.e. May 26, 2020, around 12:30 PM. Every day there were rumours regarding the result to be declared soon.
The result will be available today on the official website i.e. biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in, onlinebseb.in, bsebresult.online, bsebonline.org, biharboard.online.
According to media sources, there are some big reasons behind the delay in the result which are mentioned below.
BSEB 10th result 2020: Reasons for Delay
- One of the biggest reason is the teachers strike in Bihar. The contractual school teachers were on the indefinite strike since February 17, the day class X examination by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) started. In view of the COVID-19 pandemic and the state government's assurances that they will look into the demands, over four lakh contractual school teachers in Bihar on May 4, 2020, ended their 76 days long indefinite strike.
- As per the sources, the evaluation process is almost complete and the topper verification is taking the time. Usually, the verification includes a written test to match handwriting and knowledge as well as an interview. But due to the pandemic, the same has been moved to online mode, special precautions are being taken care of, which eventually is taking more time than usual.
- Due to the changes made in the exam pattern this year, the process has become more complicated. This year over 1.29 lakh students appeared for the exam comparatively less than last year.
- Not only the subjective answer script but also the MCQ part had to be checked which makes it over 1 crore answer scripts that were evaluated and verified, this year.
The state board claims it is making efforts to declare an error-free result. All the answer sheets, as well as the OMR sheets for the objective-type questions, had a pre-printed barcode and lithocode to ensure scanning and error-free result, as per the BSEB.
BSEB 10th result 2020: Steps to check
Step 1: Visit the official website of BSEB i.e. biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in or biharboard.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the 'Matric Results 2020' link, on the homepage
Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen
Step 4: Click on Class 10 results
Step 5: Fill in the required details such as BSEB roll number
Step 6: Enter the captcha text and click on submit
Step 7: Bihar Board 10th result 2020 will be displayed on the screen
Step 8: Download and take a print out of the same for future reference.

Bihar Board concluded the board exams for class 10 students in February itself and would have completed the evaluation process and result declaration in March, had it not been for the lockdown.
