Board of Secondary Education, Assam has declared the results of HSLC Class 10 compartment examinations.

While the board conducted the compartment exam in July, students can check the results online.

How to check Assam SEBA HSLC Compartmental Result 2018?
The simple steps to check the result as follows: 
Step 1: Visit sebaonline.org. 
Step 2: Click on HSLC/AHM (Compartmental) RESULTS, 2018 option. 
Step 3: Enter the required informtion. 
Step 4: Click on Get Result option. 
Step 5: The result will pop up on the computer screen. 

Highlights 
Out of a total number of 9343 students, 4604 passed. 
The board has decided to continue with the policy of grace marks for lower level performance to improve the pass percentage.

Maximum of eight marks in a single subject
Maximum 15 marks distributed in three subjects.

Results of some candidates have been kept withheld due to the reasons as stated below. Such candidates shall follow the instructions as noted hereunder to clear their results.
A. i. Registration anomaly: Provisional Admit Cards /Admit Cards were issued to some candidates who filled in forms for appearing in the HSLC/AHM Examination
without furnishing Registration Number. Such candidates will have to submit the application along with the Registration Card (original) and Admit Card duly
forwarded by the Principal/Headmaster/Headmistress/ Superintendent of the school after 7 (seven) days from the date of declaration of the Results.

ii. Withheld for other reasons: The candidates whose Results have been kept withheld for other reasons shall be required to appear before the Clearance Committee of
Examination, SEBA for personal hearing with a letter of identification from the Heads of concerned School after 7 (seven) days from the date of declaration of
results. They shall also bring original Admit Card and Registration Card with them. Withheld Results if not claimed within 4 (four) months from the date of
declaration of results shall stand automatically cancelled.

About Board of Secondary Education, Assam
The Assam Secondary Education Act, 1961 (Assam Act, XXV of 1961) was passed to provide for the establishment of a Board of Secondary Education to regulate, supervise and develop Secondary Education in the State of Assam.

The jurisdiction of SEBA was the territory of the erstwhile State of Assam comprising the entire North East region of the country. With the creation of the Provinces/States Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh out of Assam at different times and with the establishment of their separate/own Boards of School Education the jurisdiction of SEBA got reduced. Presently the territory of the State of Assam is the jurisdiction of the Board.
