In a bid to reach the mass market during the festive season, domestic handset maker Karbonn on Tuesday launched four 2G and 3G-enabled smartphones in the Rs 5,500-7,500 range.
"With money-savings being the in-word now, this festive range from Karbonn is aimed to bring in a completely novel vista of gifting for your loved ones," the company said in a statement.
The Karbonn A16 is powered by 1.3GHz Dual Core and runs on Android Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. It has a 10.1cms WVGA capacitive screen with 5MP rear camera and has 32GB extended memory. The Karbonn A16 is also enabled with Hungama My Play app which offers 1 month unlimited access to Hungama content. The Karbonn A16 is priced at Rs 6,490.
The Karbonn A99 features the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and runs on a 1.3GHz Dual-Core processor. The device has a 10.1cm IPS display, a 5MP camera and is enabled with 3G video calling, Dual SIM, Outlook E-mails, Wi-Fi, GPS Navigation, Hungama My Play, Google App Suite, Karbonn Live, Whatsapp. The Karbonn A99 is prices at Rs 6,590.
Karbonn A35 is a big-screen enabled smartphone with 12.7cms qHD IPS capacitive display. The device is available in Black-Silver and White-Silver. It is powered by a 1GHz Dual Core Processor and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. The Karbonn A35 also provides a 1800 mAh battery and has a 5MP auto-focus camera and a 2MP front camera. The A35 is priced at Rs 7,490.
The Karbonn A90 has a 10.1 cm IPS Capacitive Screen, 1 GHz Processor, a 5 MP camera enabled. It comes with a flip cover. The device runs on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS The Karbonn A90 is priced at Rs 5,490.
