IPL 6 comes to Android with gaming app
As the sixth edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) gets into its momentum, Disney UTV's Indiagames has launched a new mobile game IPL Cricket Fever 2013 to capture the frenzy.

Floated on the Android platform, the game provides real simulation of cricket using real time physics and motion capture animation to make the overall experience realistic.

It has already crossed lakhs of downloads in the first 10 days of its launch.

"We have been providing cricket enthusiasts with the official IPL mobile game year-on-year successfully. With the IPL frenzy growing with every passing year, we have witnessed millions of downloads of the game which has been growing exponentially," said Vishal Gondal, managing director - Digital, Disney UTV, in a statement.

"IPL frenzy has just about started to catch on for season six and the game has already crossed lakhs of downloads in the first 10 days itself. IPL Cricket Fever 2013 - the official IPL season 6 mobile game with added features like the challenge mode and even cheerleaders will provide an even more enhanced cricketing experience to the users," he added.

The game also has swipe-based controls for batting allowing the gamer to hit the ball in any direction.

Another highlight is that the game is presented with true cinematic experience with TV broadcast style cameras, reads a statement.

Gamers can even add cheerleaders from the in-game store provided.
