Eligibility Criteria: A degree in Ayurveda and A Postgraduate qualification in the subject or speciality concerned included in the Schedule to the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 from a recognized University or Institution and knowledge of Sanskrit.
Age Limit: 40 years

Qualification:

Essential:

i) A degree in Ayurveda from a University established by law or a Statutory Board or Faculty of Examining Body of Indian Medicine or its equivalent as recognized under Indian Medicine Central Council Act,1970;

ii) Postgraduate qualification in the subject or speciality concerned included in the Schedule to the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 from a recognized University or Institution;

iii) Knowledge of Sanskrit

iv) If the postgraduate qualification holders for the following subjects as noted in a column
(1) are not available, the postgraduate obtained in the subjects noted in a column
(2) against the subject shall be admissible


Age: Not more than 40 Years on 1.1.2019; relaxable for the persons having higher qualifications and/or longer experience than those prescribed. The age limit is also relaxable for the persons holding a substantive appointment under the Government.

Provided that the upper age limit is also relaxable for the candidates belonging to SC, ST, & other Backward Classes as per extant Rules or Orders issued of the Government from time to time.
