The applications are invited by the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) for the post of 158 Technician Apprentice. The Walk-in-Interview is scheduled for September 7, 2019. The duration of training will be one year from the date of joining and the stipend is Rs 3542/- per month.

Interested candidates may visit the VSSC pavilion during the centralised walk in an interview arranged by Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT), Chennai and Supervisory Development Centre, Govt. Of Kerala, as per the following schedule:

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have a first-class Diploma (three years duration) awarded by a state, technical board/ university in the respective field with not less than 60% marks.

Age limit (as on September 16, 2019): 30 years

Selection of Technical Apprentices: Candidates who have passed Diploma in/ after 2017 are only eligible to apply: Those who passed diploma in 2017 will be eligible for apprenticeship till March 2020 as per the provisions of apprentices act they will not be offered the training position after March 2020, even if they are empanelled/ waitlisted.

Courses recognised by universities/ State Technical Boards from Southern region (Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Pondicherry) will be given priority since these States/ UT’s come under Southern Region of BOAT. Candidates from other State Technical Boards will be considered only in case there is a shortage of candidates in the respective discipline.
