UPSC IAS, IFS Application Form 2022: Last Day to Apply Over 1000+ Vacancies, Exam Likely in June

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), on February 22, concluding the application process for Civil Services Exam and Indian Forest Services Exam 2022. The application form for the preliminary examination is available in the online mode on the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in. The candidates have not yet applied for the Indian Administrative Services Exam for the year 2022 can fill up the application form online through the Commission's website.
The Commission has invited application for a total of 1012 posts, of which 151 posts are for Indian Forest Services (IFS) and 861 posts are for Indian Administrative Services (IAS) through its recruitment notification No. 05/2022-CSP and 06/2022-IFoS, respectively. Aspiring candidates can register online for the preliminary examination upto 22nd February 2022 till 6:00 PM. The selection of a candidate will be based on the preliminary exam, main exam and interview.

UPSC Civil Services IAS, IFS 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

For Indian Administrative Services (IAS): A candidate must hold a Bachelor Degree in any stream from a recognized University.               

For Indian Forest Services (IFS): A candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering from a recognized University.
