UPSC CMS 2024 Interview Schedule Out: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Combined Medical Services Examination (CMSE) 2024 interview schedule. While the personality tests (interviews) will be conducted from September 23 to October 23, 2024, it will be held in two shifts — 9.00 AM and 1.00 PM.
"On the basis of the results of the Combined Medical Services Examination, 2024 declared by the Union Public Service Commission on 30th July, 2024, the Commission has decided to commence the Personality Tests (Interviews) of the Combined Medical Services Examination,
2024 w.e.f Monday, 23.09.2024," read the official notification.

"The e-Summon Letters of Personality Tests (Interviews) of the candidates will be made available shortly, which may be downloaded from the Commission’s Website (https://www.upsc.gov.in & https://www.upsconline.in). No request for change in the date and time of the Personality Test (Interview) intimated to the candidates will ordinarily be entertained," says the notification.
It may also be noted that the candidate who has not finally submitted the DAF within the stipulated date and time, his/her candidature shall be cancelled and no e-Summon Letter shall be issued to that candidate as instructed earlier in para 5 of the Press Note/Notice dated 10.04.2024 declaring the result of written part of Combined Medical Services Examination, 2024.
The candidates appearing for Interview will be granted reimbursement towards travelling expenses for appearing in the Interview which will be restricted only to the Second/Sleeper class train fare (Mail Express). In case, the candidates perform their journey by any other mode/class, the same will be dealt as per S.R.-132 and the Commission’s guidelines, available on the website i.e https://upsc.gov.in/forms-downloads→ [Travelling Allowance Form for Candidates (For Candidates only)].
"The P.T. schedule of 1739 candidates, indicating their Roll number, Date and Session of interview starting from 23.09.2024, is given below. Reporting Time for Forenoon Session is 0900 Hours and for Afternoon Session is 1300 hours. PT schedule of remaining candidates will be uploaded shortly," pointed out the official notification.

CMS Interview Schedule 2024: Selection process
The selection process for the UPSC CMS 2024 examination will be divided into two stages: i) a Written Examination worth 500 marks, comprising two papers, with each paper allocated a maximum of 250 marks. Each paper will have a duration of two hours. ii) a Personality Test, which will be conducted for candidates who pass the written examination, carrying a total of 100 marks.
