UPSC CDS 2 2020 Notification

The notification has been released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for the CDS II exam today i.e. on August 5, 2020. The notification is available on UPSC official site upsc.gov.in. This year, 344 posts will be filled under the Joint Defense Service in the country through the recruitment process. As per the notification issued, the last date to apply for the exam is fixed on August 25, 2020.

Indian Military Academy, Dehradun - 100 Posts
Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala - 26 posts
Air Force Academy, Hyderabad - 32 Posts
Officer Training Academy, Chennai (Male) - 169 Posts
Officer Training Academy, Chennai (Madras) (Female) - 17 Posts
Educational qualification-
For IMA and Officer Training Academy Chennai, candidates should have a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
For Indian Naval Academy: Candidates should have a degree in engineering from a recognized university/ institute.
Candidates for Air Force Academy should have a Bachelor of Engineering degree from a recognized university. Note that the candidate has passed 12th with Physics and Mathematics.
Age Limit-
Please tell that the age limit has been set differently for each academy. Candidates can check the age limit through the available official notification.
Application fee: Candidates will have to pay Rs 200/ - for the application fee. The application fee can be paid by any branch of SBI.
Fees can be paid using the net banking facility of State Bank of India or by using a credit/ debit card. Women/ SC/ ST candidates are exempted from payment of fees.
