Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have passed three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering from an institute recognised by the Central Government or State Government.
Age Limit: 30 years

BSF reserves the right to cancel the candidature of any candidate at any stage of the selection process if he is found not qualifying any of the prescribed eligibility criteria.

Male: 1.6Km in 7 minutes
Female: 800 Mtrs. In 05 minutes
Event: Long Jump
Male: 11 Feet (03 chances to be given)
Female: 08 feet (03 chances to be given)

Male: 3 ½ Feet (03 chances to be given)
Female: 2 ½ Feet (03 chances to be given)
Physical Standards (Test) (PST)
Height:
Male: 165 Cms. (Relaxable by 5 Cms for Hill Tribes and Adivasis including Mizos and Nagas)
Female: 157 Cms
Chest:
Male: 76 – 81 Cms. (Relaxable by 02 Cms for candidates below 20 years of age)
Female: Not applicable
Weight:
Male: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards
Female: According to height but not less than 46 Kgs
