Post: Trainee Electrical Officers
Pay Scale: Rs 10,000/- per month
Post: Electrical Officers- with ETO (Electro Technical Officer), COC
Pay Scale: Rs 2600/- to 3,300/- depending upon the type of ship
Eligibility Criteria: Relaxation (in Upper age limit): 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC
Trainee Electrical Officers: the candidates must have -- (i) Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English with minimum 50% marks in the final examination or must have obtained 50% marks in English subject either in 10th or 12th Standard exam, from recognised board. And
(ii) the candidate should have passed the three-year Diploma or Four-year degree with 60% marks in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication/ Communication engineering or Electronics and Instrumentation.
Age Limit: 30 years
Electrical Officers -- With ETO (Electrotechnical Officer), COC: the candidates must have -- (i) Retired Indian Navy personnel with B.E. /Diploma awarded by the Indian Navy, and has sailed as chief artificer (power side only), and is in possession of DG approved ETO course and ETO COC.
(ii) Candidates with BE/ BTECH/ Diploma in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics, and in possession of DG approved ETO course certificate and ETO COC
Age limit: 45 years
