RRB JE Recruitment 2024 Notification update: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released a notification in connection with the junior engineer (JE) recruitment exam 2024. According to the notification, therer are 7,951 vacancies for Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), Chemical Metallurgical Assistant, and other posts.
“Applications are invited from eligible candidates for various posts of Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, (Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant, Chemical Supervisor (Research) and Metallurgical Supervisor (Research). Applications, complete in all respects, must be submitted online only latest by 23:59 hours of 29.08.2024,” read the official notification. Aspiring candidates can now download the RRB JE notification 2024 available on the official website (indianrailways.gov.in).
Eligible candidates should note that the RRB JE registration process will commence on July 30. While candidates should submit their applications, including the payment of the application fee, by August 29, 2024, the board will open the RRB JE application correction window from August 30, 2024 to September 8, 2024.
RRB JE Recruitment 2024 Examination Fee
Categories and denomination
The examination fee for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Minorities, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender,or Economically Backward Class (EBC) is Rs 250. Candidates should note that the amount will be refunded, after deducting applicable bank charges, upon appearing in the 1st stage Computer-Based Test (CBT)
For all other candidates, the examination fee is Rs 500. As per the official notice, an amount of Rs 400 will be refunded, after deducting bank charges, upon appearing in the first stage computer-based test (CBT).
RRB JE 2024: Documents required
Candidates are advised to keep their passport size photographs, scanned signature, SC and ST Certificate (if any) and photo copy of academic details (mark sheets and pass certificates) handy during the RRB JE 2024 registration process.
