Application Fees :
- General category candidates will be required to pay a fee of Rs 1,000.
- Candidates from the SC, BC, and EWS categories can pay a fee of Rs 250.
- Ex-servicemen and their dependents who wish to apply for the positions must pay Rs 200.
Punjab Police Jail Warder Recruitment 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Education: Candidate must have passed 12th with Punjabi up to 10th as one of the compulsory or elective subjects, or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language as specified by the Government from time to time.
Age Limit: The candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 27 years.
Punjab Police Jail Warder Recruitment 2021 Selection Process:
● Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the examination, physical measurement test, and physical screening test.
● To be considered for the position, applicants must pass a written exam, a physical measurement test, and a physical screening test, after which final candidates will be chosen.
● Warder Physical Eligibility Test includes a 100-meter run that must be completed in 15 seconds.
● Applicants must also throw a 7.26 kg shot put ball at a distance of at least 5.50 metres. It will be 5.443 kg in weight and thrown at a four-meter distance for the position of matron.
● Candidates will be given three opportunities. Applicants for warder positions must climb a rope to a height of 15 feet and matron positions must climb a rope to a height of 12 feet.● They'll have three chances to succeed.
Punjab Police Jail Warder Physical Measurement Test:
Warder
Minimum Height: Applicants must be at least 5 feet 7 inches tall.
Dogra and Gurkha Communities Height: 5 feet/ 5 feet 4-1/2 inches.
Chest Measurements: The applicants' chests should be no less than 33 inches when unexpanded and no less than 5 inches when expanded.
Matron
Minimum height: Applicants must be at least 5 feet 3 inches tall.
Weight: Applicants should weigh no less than 50kg.
Vision: Applicants must have normal vision, either with or without spectacles and must not be colourblind.
