JKSET 2024: University of Jammu has extended the registration deadline for Jammu and Kashmir State Eligibility Test (JKSET) 2024. Interested candidates can now visit the official website i.e. jujkset.in. to fill out their applications by 20 July 2024 without a late fee. The candidates may note that the JKSET 2024 written exam will be conducted on 20 October 2024.
The last date to submit the form with a late fee of Rs 600 is 25 July 2024. To register for the exam, candidates from the general category will have to pay Rs 1,200. After closing the application window, the university will open the application correction window.
The application correction window will be opened from 29 to 31 July 2024. The JKSET 2024 admit card is scheduled to be issued on October 14. The JKSET exam is conducted for the recruitment for the post of assistant professor in universities and colleges in the Union Territories of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh.

- Firstly, visit the official website at jujlset.in.
- Then, click on the “Apply Online” link, on the homepage.
- Enter your login details and register.
- Fill out the application form, upload documents, pay the fee, and submit.
- Download and take a printout for future reference.
JKSET 2024: Eligibility criteria
- Candidates should have at least 55 percent marks or an equivalent grade in their master's degree or equivalent exam from institutions recognized by the UGC.
- Candidates who have appeared or will be appearing in the qualifying master's degree exam and whose results are still awaited will be admitted provisionally and will be awarded eligibility for an assistant professor after passing the master's degree exam.
- PhD degree holders who completed their master's degree exam by September 19, 1991, are granted a relaxation of 5 percent in aggregate marks for appearing in the JKSET exam.
- Transgender candidates are eligible for the same relaxation in fee and age as available to SC, ST, and PwD category candidates.
