Ministry of Defense (Navy) has invited applications for recruitment to the various Apprentice posts including Electronics Mechanic, Painter, Carpenter. The candidates who are interested can apply through Apprenticeship India official website apprenticeshipindia.org. The recruitment drive will fill up a total of 275 vacancies at Naval Dockyard Apprentice School, Visakhapatnam for the training year 2022-23 batch.
The official notification said, "Receipt of offline application along with relevant documents must be sent through post to DAS(V) by 14th December 2021. It should be noted that applications received after 14th December 2021 will not be accepted for any reason whatsoever.”

- Written Test for All Trades in DAS (Vzg) - 27th January 2022
- Declaration of the result of written examination in DAS (Vzg) - 29th January 2022
- Date of Interview - 31st January, 1st, 2nd and 3rd February 2022
- Medical Examination - 7th February to 15th February 2022
Indian Navy Apprentice Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications: Candidates should have passed SSC / Matric / Std X with 50% (aggregate) and ITI (NCVT / SCVT) with 65% (aggregate).
Age Limit: General / OBC candidates should be born between 1st April 2001 to 1st April 2008. SC/ ST category candidates should be born between 1st April 1996 to 1st April 2008. Children of Navy Civilian/Defence Personnel will get an age relaxation of two years.
Know the Selection Process and Exam Details
Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria will receive the call letter for the written test. The written test will be of objective type consisting of 50 questions (Mathematics 20, General Science 20, General Knowledge 10), each question carrying one and a half (1½) marks. Candidates will be called for interviews in the order of merit in the written test. The interview will be based on the technical skills of the candidates in the respective trade. Candidates who clear the interview will have to undergo a medical test.
