India Post GDS Recruitment 2024: The India Post has announced vacancies for the positions of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) 2024 today, 15 July.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply for these positions through the official website at indiapostgdsoline.gov.in, this opportunity is for all the eligible 10th pass candidates aspiring for government jobs.
This GDS recruitment campaign 2024 aims to fill a total of 44,228 positions. The last date to apply for these positions is 8 August, 2024.Vacancies for the posts of Branch Postmaster (BPM) and Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM)/Dak Sevak will be filled for the financial year 2024-25.
A total of 44,228 positions will be filled in 23 states across the country - Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, North East, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal.
General and OBC category candidates applying for these positions will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 100. However, candidates from all other categories are exempt from the application fee.

- Educational Qualification:
- Candidates applying for these posts must be between 18 and 40 years of age. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories.
- Age Limit:
- Selection will be based on the marks obtained in the 10th grade.
- Candidates must have passed 10th grade with Mathematics and English subjects.
- Additionally, candidates must have knowledge of the local language.
