India Post GDS Recruitment 2024: The Indian Post Gramin Dak Sevak posts recruitment 2024 application registration window will close today, August 5, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates who have not yet applied can do so through the official India Post website at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
Candidates must note that the registration process began on July 15, 2024. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 44,228 positions.
The 44,228 positions will be filled across 23 states in the country: Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, North East, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal.
The official notification states, "The merit list will be prepared based on the percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals of the marks/grades/points obtained in the Secondary School Examination of the 10th standard of recognized Boards converted into marks."
India Post GDS Recruitment 2024: Educational qualification
- Selection for these positions will be based on the candidates' marks in the 10th grade.
- Candidates must have passed the 10th grade with Mathematics and English as subjects.
India Post GDS Recruitment 2024: Age Limit
- The minimum age for candidates is 18 years.
- The maximum age is 40 years.
- Candidates from reserved categories are given relaxation in the upper age limit.
India Post GDS Recruitment 2024: Application Fee
- General and OBC category candidates must pay an application fee of INR 100.
- All other category candidates are exempt from the application fee.
