Pay Scale/ Salary: i) 31,000/- + HRA to Scholars who have cleared (a) National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. (ii) 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above
Responsibilities: To assist in COVID-19 testing by performing RT-PCR analysis and related works at various health centres and testing facilities of Union Territory of Ladakh.
Education Qualification: MSc in Life Science/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry from a recognized university.
Desirable: Experience in DNA/RNA extraction, Handling of clinical samples, Knowledge of Molecular Biology Techniques including Real Time PCR.
Age Limit: 35 Year
Selection Process: Application form for particular position can be filled online in the Google Form for that particular position. Google Forms links are available on the website of CSIR-IIIM (iiim.res.in). Filled forms should be submitted by or before October 22, 2020 (Thursday) up to 5:00 pm. Application Form submitted after the scheduled date and time i.e. 22.10.2020 (Thursday) up to 5.00 P.M. shall not be entertained for Online Interview. The applicant should fill separate form for each position code.
