ICF Chennai Recruitment 2024: ICF Chennai has commenced the application process for recruitment to apprentice positions in various trades. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for these positions through the official website at pb.icf.gov.in. 

 

Candidates must note that the last date to apply for the ICF Chennai positions is 21 June, 2024.

 

According to the notification, ICF has released a total of 1010 apprentice seats for this recruitment campaign. The apprentice seats at ICF Chennai are divided between new and ex-ITI candidates. 

 

Through this recruitment campaign, 330 positions will be filled for ex-ITI candidates and 680 positions for freshers.

 

 ICF Chennai Recruitment 2024: Age limit

  • For ITI Applicants: Age should be between 15 years to 24 years.
  • For Non-ITI Applicants: Age should be between 15 years to 22 years.
  • Relaxation for Reserved Categories:
    • SC/ST candidates: 5 years
    • OBC candidates: 3 years
    • PwBD candidates: 10 years

 

ICF Chennai Recruitment 2024: Educational qualification (Ex-ITI Applicants)

  • Candidates applying for the trades of Fitter, Electrician, and Machinist should have passed 10th class and 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in Science and Mathematics. 
  • They should also possess a National Trade Certificate in the relevant trade issued by the National or State Council for Vocational Training.
  • Candidates applying for the trades of Carpenter, Painter, and Welder should possess an NTC certificate issued by the National or State Council for Vocational Training.
  • Candidates applying for the PASSA trade should have passed the 10th class and should possess an NTC certificate in the Computer Operator and Programming Assistant trade.

 

ICF Chennai Recruitment 2024:  Educational qualification (Freshers)

  • For Freshers applying for the trades of Fitter, Electrician, and Machinist, a minimum of 50% marks in the 10th class examination and passing 10+2 with Science and Mathematics is required.
  • Freshers applying for the trades of Carpenter, Painter, and Welder should have passed the 10th class examination with at least 50% marks.
  • New candidates applying for MLT Radiology and Pathology should have passed the 12th class examination with PCB.

  • Then, click on the "Apply for Act Apprentice 2024-25" link on the website.
  • Now, click on the option for filling the online application and choose between the ex-ITI or fresher option according to your eligibility.
  • Next, register yourself on the portal.
  • Upload all the required relevant documents as requested.
  • Then, make the payment of the application fee.
  • Finally, keep a copy of the application form for your reference.
