IBPS RRB Recruitment 2023: Important Details
The last day to fill out the application form and pay the fee for the IBPS RRB PO and Clerk recruitment 2023 is June 28, 2023. Earlier, the last date to apply was June 21, 2023.
The official notice reads, "After carefully reviewing the situation in the state of Manipur and due to natural calamities in certain parts of the country, it has been decided to extend the period of online registration of applications."
The pre-exam training will be held between July 17 and 22. The online preliminary exam for IBPS RRB Officer and Clerk 2023 is tentatively scheduled to be conducted in August, while the mains exam is scheduled for September 2023.
This year, a total of 8611 vacancies have been notified under the IBPS RRB. This includes 5538 Office Assistant, 2485 Officer Scale I, 515 Officer Scale II, and 73 Officer Scale III posts.
IBPS RRB Recruitment 2023: Exam Dates
The examination for Office Assistant (Clerk) posts and Officer Scale 1 (PO) posts will be conducted in two phases. However, there will be a single exam for Officer Scale 2 and 3. The bank has scheduled the IBPS RRB Clerk exam and the IBPS RRB PO exam on August 5, 6, 12, 13, and 19, 2023, according to its exam calendar. The IBPS RRB Officer Scale 2 & 3 exam will be conducted on September 10, 2023.
Under the same process, interviews for the recruitment of Group "A" - Officers (Scale-I, II & III) will be conducted by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the assistance of NABARD and IBPS by November 2023.
IBPS RRB Recruitment 2023: Age limit
(as on June 1, 2023)
- For Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager): 21-40 years
- For Officer Scale-II (Manager): 21-32 years
- For Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager): 18-30 years
- For Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 18-28 years
IBPS RRB PO 2023: Educational Qualification
Office Assistant (Multipurpose):
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.
- Proficiency in local language as prescribed by participating RRB/s.
- Desired working knowledge of computer.
Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager):
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.
- Preference given to candidates with degrees in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, etc.
- Proficiency in local language and desired working knowledge of computer.
Officer Scale-II (Manager):
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.
- Minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager):
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.
- Minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institutions required.
IBPS RRB PO Clerk 2023: Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through the IBPS RRB Preliminary Examination (objective), Main Examination (objective), and Interview. Shortlisted candidates will be provisionally allotted to one of the RRBs based on vacancies and business needs.
IBPS RRB Recruitment 2023: Application Fee
The online application fee is Rs 175 for SC/ST/PWBD candidates and Rs 850 for all others.
