GDS Recruitment 2022: India Post has opened the application window for candidates desirous of applying for 38, 926 vacant posts of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS). Thus, candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for the aforesaid posts can log on to the official website of India Post at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. The deadline to apply for the posts is June 6, 2022.
The official notification released in regard to the announcement of the vacancies read, "Applications are invited from candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria, for filling 38, 926 posts of Gramin Dak Sevak. Applications must be submitted in the online mode at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. Apart from this, applications submitted through other modes will be rejected."

GDS Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Age limit: Applicants must not be below 18 years and not above 40 years of age. The age relaxation criteria has been described in the table below.

Educational qualification: The applicant should have passed Class 10 and should have studied Mathematics, English and their local language as their main/elective subjects. Apart from this, the applicants must also possess knowledge of cycling.

GDS Recruitment 2022: Application fee

Male category candidates belonging to the unreserved category will have to pay Rs 100 as the application fee amount. Meanwhile, female candidates, trans woman candidates and candidates belonging to the reserved category have been exempted from paying the application fee amount.
