Engineering and Technical Courses to be Taught in Regional Languages from Next Academic Session

All technical courses including engineering will also be taught in regional languages from the next academic session. The decision has been taken in a high-level review meeting chaired by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank.

 
For this, the Ministry has also listed some IITs and NITs. It was also decided in the meeting that the National Testing Agency (NTA) which conducts JEE (Main) and NEET will also prepare a syllabus for competitive examinations. Along with this, the UGC has also been directed to distribute scholarships on time and a helpline should also be started soon and all the complaints of students should be resolved immediately.
 
NTA Announced Exam in Nine Languages
 
The NTA announced its decision to conduct JEE (Main) in nine regional languages in addition to Hindi and English from 2021 last month. However, the IIT has not yet taken any decision in this regard. This decision will be considered final only after the decision of IIT and NIT.
