Delhi Jal Board has issued a notification in connection with the recruitment of Consultant/ Senior Consultant. Candidates can apply on or before October 14, 2018.

The simple steps to apply for the post of Consultant/ Senior Consultant as follows: 
Step 1: Visit delhi.gov.in.
Step 2: Go to the notification mentioning vacancies for Consultant/ Senior Consultant. 
Step 3: Read the instructions apply accordingly. 

Age Limit: The maximum age limit for the post of Consultant shall be 65 years.

Remuneration: The remuneration of the applicants is negotiable and will be as per the past experience and academic qualifications. 

MISSION 

Delhi Jal Board (DJB), constituted under Delhi Jal Board Act 1998, is responsible for production and distribution of drinking water as also for collection, treatment, and disposal of domestic sewage in the Capital.
SERVICES PROVIDED 
a) Supply of potable drinking water. 
b) Supply of potable water through tankers whenever needed. 
c) Supply of packaged water “JAL” in Jars through Jal Suvidha Kendras. 
d) Treatment and disposal of sewage. 
e) Supply of Biogas / Sludge Manure/ treated waste water. 
f) Testing of water samples.
The board interacts and associates with RWAs on:-
•    Rain Water Harvesting;
•    Distribution of Water through tankers;
•    Replacement of old/ leaking service pipes;
•    Water bill payment and collection;
•    Curbing wastage of water and encouraging water conservation

About Delhi Jal Board 
Delhi Jal Board was constituted through an Act of Delhi Legislative Assembly on April 6, 1998. It has been meeting the needs of potable water in the NationalCapital Territory of Delhi for more than five decades. Delhi Jal Board has been able to supply pure and wholesome filtered water to the capital city of India which has grown phenomenally to the present population of more than 160 lakh. Delhi Jal Board is committed for the augmentation of water supply in Delhi and has taken many steps in this direction. Delhi Jal Board has ensured average availability of 50 gallons per capita per day of filtered water through an efficient network of water treatment plants, booster pumping stations and about 9000 kms of water mains & distribution system.
