Cochin Shipyard Operator Recruitment 2021 Eligibility Criteria:
Junior Technical Assistant (Mechanical): Pass in three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education securing a minimum of 60% of marks.
Junior Technical Assistant (Electrical): Pass in three-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education securing a minimum of 60% of marks.
Storekeeper: Graduate with Post Graduate Diploma in Materials Management or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical).
Operators (Plasma Plate Cutting Machine): Pass in SSLC, ITI (National Trade Certificate), and All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in any trade.
Operator (Press): Pass in SSLC, ITI (National Trade Certificate), and All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in the trade of Fitter/ Machinist/ Sheet Metal Worker.
Operator (Pipe Bending): Pass in SSLC, ITI (National Trade Certificate), and All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in the trade of Machinist / Electrician / Electronic Mechanic.
Operator (Crane): Pass in SSLC, ITI (National Trade Certificate), and All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in the trade of Fitter / Machinist/ Electrician / Electronic Mechanic.
Operators (Plate Preservation): Pass in SSLC, ITI (National Trade Certificate), and All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in any trade.
Welder Cum Fitter [Welder/ Welder (Gas & Electric)]: Pass in SSLC, ITI (National Trade Certificate), and All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in the trade of Welder / Welder (Gas & Electrical).
Welder Cum Fitter (Fitter): Pass in SSLC, ITI (National Trade Certificate), and All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in the trade of Sheet Metal Worker or Fitter.
Application Fee: Pay the Examination Fee through Debit card/ Credit card/ Internet Banking.
For All Other Candidates: 400/-
For SC/ST: No fee
Starting Date of Online Application Submission: January 12, 2021
Last Date of Online Application Submission: February 02, 2021
Experience:
i) Experience acquired after the date of passing of the qualification stipulated as per item I above shall only be considered. The period of post-qualification experience shall be reckoned as on 02 February 2021.
ii) The period of Apprenticeship Training in the relevant trade/discipline under the Apprentices Act 1961, shall be treated as an experience. Any training with remuneration shall also be treated as an experience.
iii) Experience Certificates obtained from Companies registered under the Companies Act 1956 or Foreign Companies of equivalent status shall only be considered for shortlisting and for consideration for selection.
