The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board has announced the WB Police Exam date for the Excise Constable post. The written examination will be conducted on 2nd January 2022. The WB Police invited applications on 11th March 2021. The candidates who have registered themselves for the examination can now find more details from the official website- wbpolice.gov.in.
As per the official notification, the admit card for the offline examination will be issued by 21st December 2021. The candidates would be able to access the admit card by entering the application number and date of birth from the official website. The candidates are advised to carry the hard copy of admit card to the examination hall. The WB Police are conducting the examination to recruit candidates for the post of Excise Constable, including Lady Excise Constable under the Finance Department, Government of West Bengal.

The recruitment examination will be conducted from 12 pm to 1.30 pm. The examination will be multiple choice questions based where the candidates will be asked questions for 90 marks. A total of 1/4th of marks will be deducted for every wrong answer under the negative marking scheme. The candidates will be given questions from subjects like English, Reasoning, Elementary Mathematics, and General Awareness and General Knowledge.
WB Police aims to fill vacancies on 3000 posts through this recruitment drive. The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written examination, PST, PMT and personal interview round.
