Uttarakhand Board Exam 2020 Postponed, Fresh Dates Expected After March 31

The Uttarakhand state board exam has been postponed until further notice by the Secretary of School Education Department, Uttarakhand.

The announcement has been made by the Secretary of School Education Department, Uttarakhand, R Meenakshi Sundaram regarding the postpone of board exams to ensure the social distancing measures being imposed due to Coronavirus pandemic.

Apart from Uttrakhand, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Kerala, Goa, Telangana, and Punjab have also postponed the board exams.

As per the last bulletin, a total of 3 cases were reported from Uttarakhand and 2 from Himachal Pradesh. The all India tally of COVID19 cases stands at 283.

A lot of measures have been deployed by State and Central Governments to contain the spread of the Novel Coronavirus that has claimed over 11,000 lives around the globe. A Janta Curfew has been called by the Prime Minister on March 22, asking the countrymen to stay indoors.
