The UPSC ESE 2022 Detailed Application Form (DAF) link has been activated by the Union Public Service Commission as of today, August 5, on the official website at upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in. The detailed application form must be submitted online before August 17(6 PM) by candidates who passed the UPSC ESE 2022 mains examinations.

At the time of the interview or personality test, the shortlisted candidates must present their original certificates to substantiate their claims on their age, community, educational background, physical disability (if applicable), etc.
All of these qualifying candidates must complete the detailed application form in line with the exam's rules (DAF). Candidates may complete the Detailed Application Form online on the commission's website from August 5 to August 17, 2022, at 6 PM. The commission will revoke the candidate's candidacy if the DAF is not submitted by the candidate within the allotted time frame.
UPSC ESE 2022 DAF: Steps to Apply
Step 1: Visit the official website.upsconline.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the what's New Section and then click on the link that reads DAF: Engineering Services (Main) Examination, 2022.
Step 3: Upon clicking on the link you will be redirected to a new page. Click on the UPSC ESE 2022 link.
Step 4: Now enter the credentials like ID/Roll number and password, and click on the login button.
Step 5: Fill out all the required details in the DAF and Thoroughly check all the details provided because there will be no correction window. Click on submit it.
Step 6: Take a printout of the form after downloading it for your records.
